We aim to elect officials who represent ALL Idahoans.

Idaho Moms expect elected officials to protect and strengthen the systems that we depend on to thrive like schools, childcare, and public lands.

OUR MISSION

We are a group of women and our allies who support the wellbeing of Idaho children and families.

Our mission is to advocate for policies that support and strengthen the systems that we depend on to thrive such as:

  • schools and libraries

  • programs that support women and children

    • childcare

    • healthcare

    • elder care

  • public lands

We will support candidates from any party who champion our issues and will oppose and hold accountable those who do not.

If this mission calls to you, please donate to help us cover the costs to carry out our mission.

IDAHO MOMS

Idaho Moms was founded by a lifelong Idahoan woman who is currently helping her grandson and his wife raise her 4 newest batch of great grandchildren here in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her grandson is a fourth generation Bonner County logger who is eager to pass his skills down to his two young sons.

The Board is staffed with:

  • Young mothers who juggle work, kids, volunteer work, and family life.

  • Retired teachers, librarians, stay at home moms, grandmothers, granddaughters

  • Women who mother their animals.

  • Women who care about the earth.

  • Men who support these women.

We have a policy that we leave political party nonsense at the door and focus on the issues that affect us. We focus on our shared values as Idahoan women and the mission of Idaho Moms.

Idaho Moms includes everyone who cares about human beings, animals, and mother nature.

Idaho Moms endorses Prop 1.

We believe that the most important election is the May Primary. The winner of the Republican primary goes on to win the general approximately 80% of the time.

Because this is where our leaders are chosen, we believe everyone should be able to vote in an open primary system.

More choice and more voice. It’s all good.

Idahoans are Independent by nature. They want to participate without being forced to give up that independence.
